Course Organization
Welcome
Welcome to the course Advanced Topics in AI. In this course, you will learn the basic principles, on which all current AI applications are based.
Lectures and Exercises
The topics of this course are split into several two-week units, which you can find on the main page. For each unit, there are videos and corresponding exercises, leading you through the contents step by step. Exercises can be question answering, calculations, multiple choice or questions regarding programming assignments.
At the end of each two-week unit we will set a meeting, where you can ask questions and we go through some of the exercises in detail.
In three of the topics there will be programming assignments. By solving them and submitting your solution you can collect bonus points, which will improve your final grade.
At the end of each unit there will be a test, which will be graded and can contribute as bonus to your final grade.
Grading
There will be a final exam at the end of the course, which determines your grade. If you hand in the programming assignments or do good in the unit tests, you can collect bonus points. These bonus points will improve your final grade if you passed the final exam.
